The Polish Platform for Homeland Security (PPHS) is a vigorous team of professionals and experts in the security domain, providing project management, training and professional services. We coordinate initiatives, organise events, conduct communication and dissemination activities, share knowledge and expertise and work to overcome our partners’ various challenges.

In 2005 Prof. Emil W. Plywaczewski and Zbigniew Rau, PhD, led to the establishment of PPHS as a joint agreement between the Polish Police, universities and research institutes to accelerate the introduction of innovations in uniformed services. Over the years, the cooperation has expanded to include new institutions and a broader scope of actions.
Today, we are an increasingly-known non-profit organisation, whose mission is to increase the level of security in Poland and Europe. We achieve this goal by strengthening the competencies of LEAs and public institutions and facilitating cooperation between all actors relevant to enhancing European civil security.
Thanks to the partnerships shaped between practitioners and the representatives of academia, we are able to support and accelerate the development of modern tools and technologies, as well as legal and organisational solutions aimed at increasing the level of internal security.
Going above and beyond is our work philosophy. We constantly endeavour to bring value to our partners, offer innovative approaches, and produce state-of-the-art outcomes. If you are looking for a trustworthy partner in the security domain, and you are passionate to make a difference, please reach out to cooperate!
The legal form of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security is an association registered in the National Court Register.

We are a non-governmental organisation that brings together a broad and diverse group of experts and practitioners in the security field. Our activities are funded through European and national funds allocated to implement specific tasks. In addition, we utilise our resources generated through organising training sessions, paid conferences, and events.
As a result, our institution is independent, dynamically evolving, and fulfilling its mission, thereby influencing the level of security in Poland and Europe.
