Association

The Polish Platform for Homeland Security Association, founded in 2006, was established to acquire legal status. This status enables the institution to conduct research, initiate development projects, and undertake other activities in accordance with the law.

The association is registered under the Act on Associations, as recognised by its founding members, and is listed in the National Court Register. Its charter governs the operations of the association.

The governing bodies of the PPHS Association are:

Management Board

The executive body that represents the Association outside.

Audit Committee

The body supervising the activities of the Association.

General Meeting of the Members of the Association

The Association’s highest governing body, which holds the power to pass resolutions e.g. to determine the main directions of action and development of the Association, to make changes to the charter, to elect all governing bodies of the Association, etc.

Honorary President on the Association’s Management Board

The Association has established the role of Honorary President on the Association’s Management Board. This individual holds the deciding vote in case of a tie among the votes of the Management Board’s members.
