The PARTICIPATION European project has been launched

We are pleased to announce that the PARTICIPATION European project has been launched. The primary purpose is to prevent extremism, radicalisation and polarisation that can lead to violence. PPHS is a partner of the project.

The project team consists of 15 institutions in total; representing countries, such as Italy, Belgium, Greece, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Romania and the United Kingdom. PARTICIPATION focuses on three main thematic areas. The first one is aiming to understand various ways lead to extremism and radicalisation. The second is the analysis of politics and practices regarding countering extremism and radicalisation. Also, tools and solutions dedicated to preventing extremism and radicalisation are in the area of PARTICIPATION’s interests.

PPHS will participate in all activities, including two as a leader:

  1. Training and Education Needs Analysis
  2. Analysing the ecological context. Co-researching youth in urban and peri-urban contexts via Community Mapping

More details about PARTICIPATION can be found here.
