Running from 1 September 2021 until 31 August 2024 , PREVENT PCP aims to augment security in public transport through innovative procurement of technology solutions. It will endow Public Transport Operators with solutions enhancing security situational awareness through:
i) timely automatic detection of potentially dangerous unattended items;
ii) identification and tracking of perpetrators and;
iii) an advanced crisis management system.
