Description of the project:

The Polish Platform for Homeland Security is a partner of the project entitled “Synergy in operations of agencies as a key to a secure tomorrow,” funded by the 2014-2021 Norwegian Financial Mechanism entitled. The project is coordinated by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lodz. Other partners of the initiative are the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom, the Vistula Branch of the Border Guard, the Regional Inspectorate of the Prison Service in Warsaw, and two non-governmental organizations: La Strada and ITAKA. The duration of the project is 18 months.

The main objective of the project is to improve the efficiency of operations and cooperation of law enforcement agencies in combating human trafficking and gender-based violence at the national and international levels. This objective will be achieved through the implementation of a series of training courses, workshops, and study visits to Interpol and police units in Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Germany. Project no. NMF/PA20/027 entitled “Synergy in operations of agencies as a key to a secure tomorrow” is financed by the “Home Affairs” Program implemented under the 2014-2021 Norwegian Mechanism. The program is administered by the Minister of Interior and Administration.
