How can EU research and innovation help tackle security threats? This will be the key focus of the upcoming Security Research Event (SRE), taking place on 24–25 June in Warsaw at EXPO XXI.
The conference is dedicated to industry representatives, policymakers, safety and security practitioners, research institutions, and critical infrastructure operators. SRE responds to the urgent need to redefine EU priorities and investment areas in light of shifting geopolitical dynamics, technological advancements, and climate change.
The main theme of the 2025 edition is Boosting security through EU-based innovation. Research and innovation play a vital role in safeguarding fundamental rights, upholding democratic values, and addressing modern security challenges.
