European Network Of Practitioners Fighting Cybercrime

The CYCLOPES project is 5 years European network of practitioners fighting cybercrime. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Programme and belongs to a small group of Coordination and Support Actions projects. The duration of the project is 60 months starting from May 2021 till April 2026.
CYCLOPES aim is to establish a network of different stakeholders across Europe, with a wide range of experience in the field of fighting cybercrime.
The network, in addition to identifying capability gaps and requirements and sharing best practices, will focus on the ongoing dialogue with industries and academia who are delivering products and conducting research on solutions that help fight cybercrime. The consistent cooperation between LEAs, industry and academia will not only improve the possibilities of practitioners fighting cybercrime but will contribute to the development of European markets. The consortium consists of 21 partners from 14 countries and the coordinator is Polish Platform for Homeland Security (PPHS).
The nature of the project is to synchronise with other activities and projects also working in the field of cybercrime. The CYCLOPES network will cooperate by exploiting the results of previous networks and initiatives, such us the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS), Europol Innovation Lab, ECTEG, EACTDA, i-LEAD, iLEAnet, iProcureNet and EU-HYBNET.
The crucial part will be also to avoid duplication of the work conducted within such stakeholders like: EUROPOL, CEPOL, ECTEG, EACTDA, ENISA, ENFSI and INTERPOL. All these institutions have been invited to the CYCLOPES Advisory Board.
We would like to invite you to the project website and its profiles on X (previously Twitter) and LinkedIn.
