Recognising, preventing & combating cyber-related crimes

How to effectively detect perpetrators, combat cybercrime and secure digital evidence? Because criminals' methods are rapidly evolving, as criminals increasingly exploit computer systems and networks, it's essential to continually improve tools, competencies, and procedures to effectively counter them. The "Cybercrime – Technologies (CP) Conference" is a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting modern solutions for law enforcement agencies, experts and institutions.

The conference is focused on topics such as detection, prevention, and countering cybercrime. The target audience of the initiative includes representatives of law enforcement agencies and institutions responsible for combating cybercrime with the use of computer systems and networks. The event is organised by the Polish Platform for Homeland Security in collaboration with partner institutions operating in this field, including the Police Academy in Szczytno, the Naval Academy in Gdynia, and the Cybercrime Prevention Foundation.
We invite technology partners to participate, offering them the opportunity to present their solutions to uniformed services and public institutions as part of sponsorship packages.
The Polish Platform for Homeland Security is responsible for the comprehensive organisation of the event—coordinating the collaboration with institutional partners, liaising with technology suppliers, communicating with participants and managing logistics.
The event’s aim is to present modern tools that support operational activities and investigations. One of the most important goals of the conference is also to create space for practitioners, academia and technological sector to share experience. The initiative contributes to identifying key challenges in countering cybercrime, threat analysis and forecasting trends.
The first edition of the conference took place in 2019. Reports and other materials from previous editions are available below:
