Rapidly evolving threats to public security shape the methods and operational approaches of the services and institutions responsible for safeguarding the state and its citizens. In this context, the role of data analysis and criminal intelligence is crucial. Increasing importance is also attached to digital tools, automation and artificial intelligence–based solutions, which enable faster information linkage, identification of relationships and more accurate risk assessment.
CINTiA (Criminal Intelligence – New Trends in Analysis Conference) is one of the key events focused on digital intelligence and data analysis for security purposes in Poland. The conference has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of events for representatives of law enforcement and other uniformed services, public institutions, and the academic community.

Key thematic areas include social media monitoring, criminal intelligence, AI-supported investigations, dark web data analysis and digital forensics. Since 2022, the Polish Platform for Homeland Security has organised the conference in cooperation with the Faculty of Computer Science at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, being responsible for the comprehensive organisation of the event — both substantively and logistically.
Technological partners of the event are providers of solutions in the field of analysis and criminal intelligence, who present their latest products and services during the conference.
The scope of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security’s activities incorporates both comprehensive organisation of the conference’s substantive and operational aspects. This includes:
The aim of the conference is the exchange of knowledge and experience, and the discussion on the newest trends in data analysis, criminal intelligence, and the implementation of modern technologies into operational activities.
