Prof zw. dr hab. Arkadiusz Letkiewicz became the Project Implementation Coordinator of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security

Prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Letkiewicz is a graduate of the Faculty of Management of the Gdansk University. In 2000 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the University of Warmia and Mazury and earned the degree of a doctor of management sciences. In 2008, at the National Defense Academy, he earned the degree of habilitated doctor of military sciences in the specialty of leadership in organizations. On 28 July 2014, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the academic title of professor of social sciences. He is a professor at the Naval Academy in Gdynia and at the University of Dabrowa Gornicza. Prof. dr hab. Arkadiusz Letkiewicz had served for nearly in the Polish Police where he was, among others, the Rector of the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Deputy Chief Commander of the Police. He is the author of over one hundred publications on the functioning and management of the Police.
