PPHS has become a member of two PKN Technical Committees

We are pleased to inform that the Polish Platform for Homeland Security, on 6 July 2018, has become a member of two Technical Committees (KT) of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN) Technical Committees (KT). In connection with this fact, the PPBW will participate in the work of KT 306 for Public Safety and Civil Protection and KT 323 for Services in Protection of People and Property.

The thematic scope of the KT 306 includes protection and defense against weapons of mass destruction, protection of citizens against phenomena dangerous for human life and health or causing material losses and minimizing their consequences, counter-terrorism, supply chain security and reducing the risk of committing crimes with the use of products and services. KT 323 deals with services covered by the Protection of Persons and Property Act.

KT 306 Members are a total 26 entities from the public and private sectors, such as the Polish Police Headquarters, the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police, the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, the Polish Security Printing Works and the Technical Inspection Authority. The work of the Technical Committee 323 involved 12 members, amongst which is the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
