PPHS Cybersecurity Standard for SME and public institutions

We would like to inform you that the Polish Platform for Homeland Security has obtained funding for performance of the innovative project titled “Cybersecurity – PPHS Standard for SME and public institutions”, as a part of submeasure 2.3.2. Innovation vouchers for SME of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The project will be performed by the Krakowskie Centrum Innowacyjnych Technologii INNOAGH Sp. z o.o.

Due to the increasing scale of attacks on the Internet, both SME and public institutions are exposed to many new types of threats that they must oppose in a skillful manner. Also, due to the entry into force of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all businesses and institutions are required to properly protect data that in practice is processed mostly electronically. Consequently, the solutions that would support achieving an appropriate level of security are still being searched for.

The result of the project will be the Cybersecurity Standard of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security supporting small and medium enterprises and public institutions.

Moreover, the PPHS will consider drafting a Polish Standard within the Polish Committee for Standardization, on the basis of its developed Standard.

Performance dates: 2 February 2019 – 31 July 2019

Total cost of the project: PLN 116,358.00, with financing from the European Regional Development Fund equal to PLN 97,239.79.
