Since December 2018, we have been working on the R&D project entitled “Mass data processing and analysis in relation to economic crime” (FINLINK). The scientific-industrial project’s consortium consists of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (Leader), the Polish Platform for Homeland Security and E-nform Sp. z o.o.
About the project
A platform for data analysis, particularly in the field of economic crime, is being developed as a result of the project. The system to be developed will be aimed at facilitating processes related to the analysis of financial flows.
Polish Platform for Homeland Security, as a member of the consortium, is responsible for the identification of data sources that can be analyzed by the emerging platform, development of legal and organizational requirements for the system, creation of the test methodology and preparation of the test environment. Moreover, the task of the PPHS is to validate the operation of both individual components and the technological demonstrator as well as to prepare user documentation together with training materials.
All the above mentioned activities are conducted after consulting with representatives of the Administrator on behalf of the Police and other services responsible for security.
The project is financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the program for defense and security. Its implementation will end in December 2021.
