The Coronavirus pandemic which began in the spring of 2020, has had a large effect on many aspects of our daily operations at the PPHS. Our onsite training was one of these operations however, the past 12 months have shown us that we can successfully help government entities carry out their tasks and provide them with knowledge and training in regards to current legislation.
EU-HYBNET is inviting applications from legal entities who are interested in becoming new network members, to contribute to problem scoping, innovation mapping, workshops, research, and training in order to increase the network participants’ capability to counter hybrid threats.
“A Week with Horizon Europe” is an event that was hosted between the 8th-12th February 2021. The event was comprised of a series of online meetings that include Regional Contact Points of the EU framework and the National Contact Points for EU Research Programs.
Directive 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the EU Council as of 23 October 2019 on the protection of whistleblowers defines obligations towards public administrations. To bring you closer to the topic at hand, PPHS conducted a webinar “Whistleblower in the public sector – obligations of a public organization in light of the Directive”. The event took place on December 16, 2020 from 10:00-12:00.
PPHS has participated in the international conference on cooperation between civil society and security authorities
The international online conference “Ukrainian and European experience of effective cooperation between civil society and security authorities” was held on 22 December 2020. The Polish Platform for Homeland Security was invited to the event.
We are pleased to announce that the PARTICIPATION European project has been launched. The primary purpose is to prevent extremism, radicalisation and polarisation that can lead to violence. PPHS is a partner of the project.
On 12 and 13 October 2020, the first table top exercise for police operational centers from several countries of the European Union were conducted to improve the skills and procedures for rapid response to crimes and secure cross-border data exchange.
