New PPHS’ training projects on security and prevention

Polish Platform for Homeland Security starts the implementation of two training projects in the field of security and prevention. Both programs are aimed at promoting security among children and teenagers. 

First of the activities will be undertaken in cooperation with the Institute of Political Science at the University of Opole in the form of joint project “Security first! Additional classes for students within 3rd mission of the University of Opole”. The undertaking includes the organization of three training modules: “Antiterrorism and counter-terrorism prevention”, “The role and place of the police in the security system”, as well as “The role and place of the armed forces in the security system”. The trainings will have been provided for 63 student groups by the end of 2019. 

The second initiative of PPHS – preventive program called “Creation of a safe school environment” will start in November 2019 and will be conducted among the students of the Primary School no. 158 of Jan Kiliński in Warsaw. The project aims to organize the events concerning recognition of risky situations and behaviors, including the usage of psychoactive substances and elimination of aggression, peer violence and cyberbullying from school life.
