On 11-th of April 2018, the conference titled “Family foster care in the perspective of the 21st Century: opportunities, threats, support” will be held at the History Centre Zajezdnia in Wroclaw. The event will be an opportunity to meet representatives dealing with foster care.
The conference will be divided into 2 sections: scientific and practical. The first part of the event will be attended by scientists interested in the conference topic. During the second part, the foster parents and representatives of supporting institutions will take the floor. The six thematic sessions will cover issues related to the social policy, the legal and institutional perspectives of activities for children, the social work and the social prevention.
The organizers of the conference are: Foundation for Foster Care “Przystanek Rodzina”, the University of Wroclaw and the Academic Student Society of Social Work “PO MOC”. The Polish Platform for Homeland Security is the partner of this event.
