Due to changes in the area of personal data protection, which came into force on 25 May 2018, the Polish Platform for Homeland Security prepared “Workshops for the Data Protection Officer” addressed to persons who will perform the function of DPO. The upcoming training will be held on 28 August 2018 in Gdansk.
Implementation of the new legislation of GDPR will require the institutions to designate the Data Protection Officer on the basis of professional qualities and, in particular, expert knowledge of law and practices in the field of personal data protection. Workshops for the Data Protection Officer enable to acquire the knowledge and skills required on national and European regulations. Their purpose is to systematize knowledge in personal data protection through practical exercises and examples of creating documentation in accordance with the GDPR. The workshop will be led by the specialist, a practitioner with over 20 years of professional experience in public administration and business.
