We know very well how important the participation of frontline practitioners in research and development initiatives is. That is why, as part of the IN2PREV project, we invited specialists working with refugees and asylum seekers on a daily basis.
During two meetings organized as part of IN2PREV by the team of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security (PPHS), we talked about the possibilities of cooperation within this project. We focused on emphasising the importance of frontline practitioners in this type of effort and demonstrating the potential spaces where such cooperation can be carried out.
For the first one, which took place on May 12th, 2023, at the PPHS office in Poznań, we invited representatives of Poznań governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the field of refugee integration. We had the pleasure of hosting eleven representatives:
In turn, the second meeting, which took place online on May 17th, was an opportunity for us to talk not only with institutions from Poland, but also from Ukraine and Turkey.
It was important for us to show the scope of PPHS activities, discuss the goals of the project, its planned results and the need for cooperation with invited institutions. We had interesting discussions that showed how niche the topic of countering radicalization is, and how much more can be done in this area. It was also an opportunity to get to know each other better and establish contacts that may become a foundation for further cooperation in the future
IN2PREV aims to provide frontline practitioners with tools to assist in the vulnerability assessment process. The project will also provide training, including a mentoring program, as well as other materials, such as guidebooks. Moreover, a great value of the initiative is the network of specialists from over 25 countries who, by working together on the project, can have a real impact on its results.
If you are a frontline activist in the above-described area, want to actively participate in the IN2PREV project and share your knowledge and ideas, and want to establish relationships with other specialists and organizations working for refugee integration across Europe, we encourage you to join IN2PREV Practitioner Network via this form.

Dołączyłem do Platformy w listopadzie 2017 roku.
I’ve been working at PPHS since November 2017. For a long time, I was responsible for implementing both international and national security projects. As PPHS developed and the Communication Department was established, I was promoted to a role focused entirely on communication.
I currently serve as the Communication & Dissemination Manager for EU-funded security projects. My responsibilities also include managing the online channels run by PPHS and supporting the team with ongoing tasks.
I have a broad set of skills, enabling me to handle a variety of tasks such as content creation (texts, photos, videos), communication and process planning, community and relationship building, as well as managing online platforms.
