A summary of the last twelve months, a new concept of activities and plans for 2020 were the main topic of the meeting of the representatives of the Threats Observatory for Young People, which took place on 10 December 2019 in the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznan.
Representatives of PPHS participated in the training on the principles of conducting Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) on 10-12 December 2019, in Rotterdam. The event was organized as a part of the PREVENT project for companies in the area of public transport, Law Enforcement Agencies and buyers in public procurement.

On the occasion of the International Mediation Day, on 17th October 2019 in the Primate’s Palace in Warsaw, PPHS organized a nationwide conference “The significance of peer mediation in the upbringing of children and youth – theoretical and practical aspects”. The event was organized in cooperation with a retired judge Anna Maria Wesołowska. The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Polish Commisioner for Human Rights, habilitated doctor Adam Bodnar.
The Polish Platform for Homeland Security together with The Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte in Gdynia and the Foundation for Cybercrime Prevention organize a conference entitled “Cybercrime.1 – Technologies” (“CP.1-Technologies”), which will be held on 7-8 November 2019 in Sound Garden Hotel in Warsaw.

On 19-20 September 2019, the first edition of the conference entitled “Safe E-commerce Conference (SEC)” took place in Będlewo, in The Mathematical Research and Conference Center, which is a part of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The event was organized by OLX Group and Polish Platform for Homeland Security and was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Regional Police Commander in Poznan.
