Project objective:

The main objective of the research and development project “Mass data processing and analysis in relation to economic crime” (FINLINK) is to develop an analytical platform for the Law Enforcement Agencies that would identify and recognize economic crimes. 

Description of the project:

A platform for the analysis of data, especially in the field of economic crime will be developed as a result of the project. This platform will facilitate processes related to the analysis of financial flows.

As a member of a scientific-industrial consortium, the Polish Platform for Homeland Security, is responsible for the identification of data sources that can be analyzed by the emerging platform, analysis of legal and organizational requirements for the system, development of test methodology and preparation of the test environment. Moreover, PPHS is to validate the operation of individual components as well as the operation of the technological demonstrator and to prepare user documentation together with training materials.

All the above mentioned activities are conducted after consulting with representatives of the Administrator on behalf of the Police and other agencies responsible for security.

The project is financed by the National Center for Research and Development
within a defense and security program.
