The ‘train the trainers’ course on the LINK3 Platform was held from the 11th-14th of April in Warsaw. 20 criminal analysts from Polish Provincial Police Headquarters were in attendance. The training was conducted within the project with our involvement in “ Mass data processing and analysis in relation to economic crime” (FINLINK).
The event was organised by the Project Administrator, which is the Crime Analysis Department of the Intelligence and Criminal Information Bureau of the National Police Headquarters, and the project’s consortium led by the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. During the meeting, participants were familiarised with both basic and advanced analytical functionalities inbuilt into the software. The trainers also presented new features implemented by the team according to the needs reported by representatives of the Police.
The trainees were prepared in a theoretical and practical way to train other officers in accordance with the specifics of their daily work. The training concluded with an exam to evaluate the participants’ knowledge, along with the provision of certificates confirming the course completion.
The LINK3 analytical platform is a successor of LINK2, which develops all functionalities included in the previous version and provides several new features, such as analysis of bank data, data processing automation, advanced search functions and the resource server.
The analysis environment LINK is developing under the FINLINK project. More information can be found here.
