On 24-25 September 2013, as a part of the strategic program titled “Five Elements. Freedom – Information – Security”, a conference titled “Five Elements” was held at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The program of the conference included presentation of good practices of operation of smart systems in crisis management and in military operations, as well as the practical possibilities of the PROTEUS system developed under the leadership of the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements. A presentation during the conference was given by Dr Zbigniew Rau, the Coordinator of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security.
