Today marks the final day of the Warsaw Print-Tech Expo – an event that brings together industry leaders and showcases the future of printing technologies.
For us, it was first and foremost an opportunity to discuss cybersecurity in the manufacturing sector as part of the international CYRUS project, co-funded by the European Union and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
During the fair, we hosted a workshop entitled “The basics of Cybersecurity”, where we explored practical aspects such as:
password security,
social engineering methods used by cybercriminals,
common attack types including phishing, ransomware, and DDoS.
Discussions often returned to the very real impact of cyberattacks on manufacturing companies – from blocked databases to halted production lines. This proves that cybersecurity is no longer solely the domain of banks or the IT sector, but a vital issue for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises as well.
As a partner of the CYRUS project, we emphasise that investing in cybersecurity means investing in the future of the company – particularly its operational continuity and customer trust. This is why we will continue to be present wherever manufacturing enterprises operate, raising awareness of threats and sharing practical knowledge on how to defend against them.
This was our first time attending the fair organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo, but we hope that it is not the last. We would like to thank the organisers for preparing such a well-designed space and enabling valuable conversations with industry representatives.
