From 24 to 26 March 2026, the fourth edition of the international conference Cybercrime.4 – Technologies was held at the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland. Once again, the event brought together representatives of law enforcement, public administration, academia and the technology sector, confirming CP.4’s position as one of the key forums for discussion on the practical challenges of tackling cybercrime.
The conference’s significance lies not only in its international scope, but above all in a format that brings together operational experience, expert knowledge and technological capability. This year’s programme addressed a number of topics that are particularly relevant to contemporary security, including data analysis and OSINT, artificial intelligence, cyber intelligence, cryptocurrencies and financial crime, digital forensics, information threats, and new social phenomena emerging in cyberspace.
CP.4 goes beyond diagnosing threats. It creates space for discussion about specific tools, methods and directions for the further development of the security system.

According to our analyses, representatives of Polish public institutions, including uniformed services, still have too little direct access to technologies and solutions developed in Europe and beyond. The conference’s greatest added value lies in enabling them to establish direct contacts, engage in discussions, test proposed solutions and immediately share their feedback, emphasises Rashel Talukder, President of the Board of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security.
This clear focus on technology and its practical application is what makes it an important forum for those involved in detecting and tackling cybercrime.
The conference was organised by the Polish Platform for Homeland Security, the Police Academy in Szczytno, the Polish Naval Academy, and the Cybercrime Prevention Foundation. The event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Police, General Inspector Marek Boroń.
