The Polish Platform for Homeland Security and the Police Training Centre in Legionowo have signed a cooperation agreement. The document opens a new stage of joint activities focused on developing the competences of uniformed services, exchanging expert knowledge and implementing initiatives that support public security in Poland and across Europe.
The agreement was signed on 14 May 2026 in Legionowo during a meeting between Insp. Dr Robert Żółkiewski, Commandant of the Police Training Centre, and Rashel Talukder, Managing Director of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security. The cooperation will include, among other areas, training activities, the organisation of joint events and expert initiatives, the development of national and European projects, as well as efforts to identify the needs of the policing community and support the implementation of modern security solutions.

Signing the cooperation agreement with the Police Training Centre in Legionowo is an important step for PPHS in further developing activities aimed at strengthening the competences of uniformed services. I am pleased with the broad scope of the planned cooperation — many joint initiatives lie ahead of us, both nationally and internationally.
The agreement formalises and strengthens a cooperation that is already delivering tangible results. One of its first visible examples was the inaugural INFODAY meeting, held on 6 May 2026 at the Police Training Centre in Legionowo and jointly organised by the Communications and IT Bureau of the National Police Headquarters, the Police Training Centre and PPHS. The initiative creates a space for dialogue between services, public institutions and the technology sector, with a focus on the practical use of innovative solutions that support internal security.
Cooperation between PPHS and the Police Training Centre will also be developed in several other important areas. Planned initiatives include training and activities related to:
For PPHS, the agreement with the Police Training Centre is an important element of its continued efforts to strengthen cooperation with uniformed services. By combining the organisation’s experience in projects, innovation and international cooperation with the knowledge and practical expertise of one of Poland’s key police training institutions, the partners are building a strong foundation for initiatives with real significance for public security.
