On 8 October 2020 in Warsaw, a day-long event devoted to the subject of whistleblowers – WHISTLEBLOWING SUMMIT 2020 will take place. The meeting is organized by Rödl & Partner and E-nform. Polish Platform for Homeland Security is a program partner of the conference.

Save the date – RADPol2020 conference – Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe

Three European projects MINDb4ACT, CHAMPIONs and BRAVE funded under the H2020 and ISF-P European Commission Programmes are pleased to announce a joint conference entitled “Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe – trends, challenges and opportunities to counteract”, which will take place at the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznan, Poland.

Advisory Board meeting of the PPHS

On 18 December 2019 the Advisory Board meeting of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security took place in Warsaw. The main purpose of the meeting was to present current work undertaken within the PPHS and to hold a discussion on further development and activities.

SNAPPY: Project kick-off meeting

On 16 January 2020, a kick-off meeting of “SNAPPY project – Database of Standardized Prevention Programs” took place in Warsaw. The event was attended by representatives of the project’s Administrator from the Department of Prevention of the Police Headquarters, as well as consortium members: Polish Platform for Homeland Security (Leader), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and SNP Poland sp. z o.o.

LION DC: Training for LEAs at the AGH in Krakow on fighting against online drug crimes

On 12-14 February 2020, at the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication of the University of Science and Technology in Krakow, a training course will take place. It is addressed to officers from various European countries dealing with drug-related crimes on the Internet. The training session will be organized within the European LION DC project.

Summary of the conference “Effective prevention of corruption and other undesirable phenomena in public administration”

The second edition of the nationwide conference entitled “Effective prevention of corruption and other undesirable phenomena in public administration” took place on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, on 9 December 2019, at the headquarters of the Stefan Batory Foundation in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Polish Platform for Homeland Security and the Anti-Corruption Academy.
