AGS UST receives the silver medal of merit for services to the Police

On 23 September, at the National Police Headquarters in Warsaw, an official ceremony took place where Police officers and civilian employees, as well as other institutions cooperating with the Police were handed medals and awards.

We are very happy to inform you that the silver medal of merit for services to the Police was handed to dr hab. inz. Marek Kisiel-Dorohinicki from the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics, and Telecommunication of the Stanislaw Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow who has for over 10 years been involved in research and development projects in the area of security and defense performed in the framework of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security.

Thanks to his commitment, knowledge, and determination, he has achieved success in the development of a number of modern solutions that are used by Police officers who find them very functional and suitable for the unique needs of the Police and other uniformed services.

The host of the ceremony was the Commander-in-Chief of the Police, gen. insp. Krzysztof Gajewski who, together with Vice-Minister of Interior, Grzegorz Karpinski, decorated the recipients of the awards and medals.
