“A Week with Horizon Europe” is an event that was hosted between the 8th-12th February 2021. The event was comprised of a series of online meetings that include Regional Contact Points of the EU framework and the National Contact Points for EU Research Programs.
Horizon Europe will replace the current Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. Over the 6-year period between 2021-2027, the allocated budget is over ninety-five billion Euro. The main objective is to strengthen the impact of research and innovation on the further development of EU policies, to support the implementation and innovation of European Industry including SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises). Other goals include addressing global challenges such as climate change and the United Nations sustainable development goals.
