A Conference of the Polish Association of University Knowledge Transfer Companies has recently taken place

On 2-3 December 2021, a Conference of the Polish Association of University Knowledge Transfer Companies (PSC), which brings together 27 universities, was held in Poznań. During the Conference, PPHS hosted a panel on R&D work and implementation of innovations in the area of security on the basis of national and European funds.

PSC is a forum for cooperation of special purpose vehicles from all over Poland, whose task is to commercialize research results and to prepare studies commissioned by companies. Special purpose vehicles operate at universities, helping them in such areas as cooperation with investors, business angels, and innovative entities that are ready to implement scientific technologies. PSC uses the synergy of its affiliated special purpose vehicles to support the development of Polish science.

During the Convention, at the invitation of Mr. Jakub Jasiczak, the President of PSC, Mr. Rashel Talukder, the Managing Director of PPHS, chaired a panel that focused on the possibility to implement modern solutions in the area of security in Poland and Europe. The discussion of this topic helped the participants to understand how to base their work on both national and European funding sources. In addition, based on PPHS’ ongoing projects, such as i-LEAD, CYCLOPES, and EU-HYBNET, as well as on its involvement in the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS), practical examples of possibilities to present Polish solutions and their potential directly to uniformed services from all over Europe were discussed.
