On 8-9 October in Cracow, one of the top five cybersecurity events in Europe will take place. This year edition’s theme is “The Quest for Cyber Trust” and gathers an elite group of cybersecurity experts from around the world. The conference is organized by the Kosciuszko Institute. The Polish Platform for Homeland Security is the institutional partner of this event.
CYBERSEC is an annual public policy conference dedicated to the strategic challenges of cybersecurity. It’s mission is to help building the foundations of this mutual trust and translate challenges into new opportunities for a better tomorrow. The substantive debate has been divided into thematic streams: State, Defence, Future and Business. Among CYBERSEC speakers we can distinguish: Melissa Hathaway (President, Hathaway Global Strategies, LLC; Former Cybersecurity Advisor, George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations; Expert, Kosciuszko Institute), Sir Julian King (European Commissioner for Security Union), Ambassador Sorin Ducaru (Senior Research Fellow, Hudson Institute, Former Assistant Secretary General, Emerging Security Challenges, NATO), Marek Zagorski (Polish Minister of Digital Affairs) and John Frank (Vice President, EU Government Affairs, Microsoft Corporation).
