3rd Local Communities Security Forum

“The role of the police uniformed classes and shaping civic attitudes of young people in the aspect of security”, is the main topic of the 3rd Local Communities Security Forum, which will be held on 23 April 2018 in Poznan under the International Security Fair SECUREX 2018. The Forum is a cyclic initiative of the Regional Police Headquarters in Poznan, the Polish Platform for Homeland Security, and the Poznan International Fair.

This year’s Forum will be dedicated to the presentation of experience related to the 11-years functioning of the policy profile classes in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the future of functioning and the need to improve the policy classes, including the possibility of using students potential in the aspect of increasing level of national security. The Forum will be attended by representatives of public institutions who have been working with youth for many years and who are also actively involved in the development of the policy classes idea.

Due to the Forum’s topic, this year’s event is organized under the interdisciplinary project “Threats Observatory for Young People”, which was created in 2015 to undertake comprehensive activities in the area of monitoring, detection and prevention of threats among children and young people.

We would like to invite to the Forum representatives of the government and local administration of the Wielkopolska Region, high schools directors, representatives of security services and other institutions interested in the subject of the meeting.

After the Forum, the participants will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitions of the International Security Fair SECUREX 2018. Interested persons will receive an electronic ticket, which after online activation entitles to free admission.

Participation in the Forum is free of charge, however registration is required.

Please confirm your attendance at the Forum until 18 April 2018. Registration can be made via registration form available on the “Threats Observatory for Young People” website. The contact person is Mrs. Klaudia Kaczmarek (phone: (61) 663 02 21, e-mail: klaudia.kaczmarek@ppbw.pl).
