2nd Local Communities Security Forum

On 10 April 2017, the 2nd Local Communities Security Forum will be held at the Poznan International Fair site. This year’s meetings will focus on advanced technological and organizational solutions intended for monitoring threats to security. The event will be organized by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznan, the Polish Platform for Homeland Security, and the Poznan International Fair – the organizer of the International Security Fair Securex 2018.

The main objective of the Forum is to present modern technological solutions that support effective management of systems for monitoring threats to security (in particular based on video surveillance, but also on sensors monitoring security in spaces and buildings, fire sensors, water level sensors, pollution sensors, etc.). Both already implemented solutions and new directions for development will be presented.

Later, the results of research and development works conducted by Polish scientists in the area of monitoring will be presented. An important element of the Forum will be presentations given by representatives of central and local/regional government institutions who build or use systems monitoring threats to security.

During the breaks, participants will be able to see the exhibition showing the latest technologies and equipment, including those discussed during the presentations. Also, the solutions will be provided to participants of the Forum so that they can perform live functional tests.

We would like to invite to the Forum representatives of the regional government of the Wielkopolskie Province (including employees of municipal and commune councils, district governments, and the Province Marshal’s Office), of the Provincial Office in Poznan, of agencies and institutions responsible for the security of residents of the Wielkopolskie Province, as well as representatives of science, NGO’s, and corporations.

The Forum can be attended free of charge (with free parking spots available at the Poznan International Fair site), the map showing the location can be found below.

Please confirm your attendance at the Forum by 4 April 2017. The contact person is Mrs. Katarzyna Lubowicz (phone: (61) 663 02 21, e-mail: katarzyna.lubowicz@ppbw.pl).
